The Dispatch
When you join the Dispatch, Cook Curated stores your email address, the signup location on the site, consent status, and subscription status. We use this information to send marketplace finds, partner offers, field notes, and notices about trips or releases. We do not sell email addresses. Every marketing message will include an unsubscribe method.
Inquiries and partnerships
When you contact Cook Curated, we store the information you provide—such as your name, email, organization, website, inquiry type, and message—along with relevant campaign-source information. We use it to review and respond to the inquiry, evaluate a proposed relationship, and maintain an ordinary record of the conversation. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
Saved objects and the Cook bag
Saved objects and bag contents are currently stored only in your browser on your device. They are not attached to an account or transmitted to Cook Curated unless a future checkout requires the information and clearly explains that change.
Analytics and affiliate links
The site records ordinary interaction events such as page views, searches, saved objects, additions to the bag, newsletter signup source, and outbound partner clicks. When a visitor arrives through a tagged campaign, Cook Curated may retain campaign source, medium, name, landing page, and referring website so marketing performance can be understood. Affiliate clicks may pass tracking information to a retailer so that Cook Curated can receive credit for a qualifying purchase. Retailers and payment providers apply their own privacy policies after you visit or transact with them.
Service providers and retention
Cook Curated uses service providers for website hosting, database storage, email forwarding and delivery, analytics, affiliate attribution, payments, and fulfillment. They receive only the information needed to provide their services and apply their own security and privacy terms. We retain inquiry and subscription records while they are needed for the relationship, compliance, or ordinary business records, then delete or de-identify them when no longer reasonably necessary.
Direct purchases
When Cook Curated checkout becomes active, the payment and fulfillment providers will receive the information needed to process payment, calculate tax and shipping, fulfill the order, prevent fraud, and manage returns. Cook Curated will not store complete payment-card numbers.
Children
Cook Curated is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing at any time. You may also clear saved objects, campaign attribution, and bag contents through your browser’s site-data controls. Questions, inquiry-record requests, deletion requests, or privacy requests may be sent to hello@cookcurated.com.
